End mills for a starter

I am looking for a set of end mills for a starter. I will be doing my first cut with it. Some of the requirements are: Machine; VFD, 4x Nema 23 4.2 A, 2.2kw water cooled spindle. The materials include plywood, foam, plastic, hardwood, aluminum.

Hello Breakfluids, I am not really answering the question but merely offering a suggestion... I think you should slow down a bit here because if you have too much speed when cutting you will lose steps and that is for sure.

well, laser cutting entails using a laser that is beamed through a gas like CO2, and directed by reflective mirrors into the material being cut. Ah, when I heard it was the Gecko540 I immediately knew that it was something to do with the z axis. The two differing cuts in the output speak of a problem with the depths of the cuts, I presume. You are most likely losing steps on the motor running the z axis. Try checking on that.
