End mills for a starter

Postby e80euj2229 » Wed Apr 13, 2016 2:34 am

I am looking for a set of end mills for a starter. I will be doing my first cut with it. Some of the requirements are: Machine; VFD, 4x Nema 23 4.2 A, 2.2kw water cooled spindle. The materials include plywood, foam, plastic, hardwood, aluminum.

For a start, you can purchase some 6 mm and 3mm 2 flute mills

Slot drills milling cutters can be of help to you if you want center cutting or you want to plunge

I am a beginner too and last month I bought some 10, 6, and 3 mm end mill cutters and ballend cutters. They are really great.
