Recommendation for a V-groove bit

Postby marbole » Fri Apr 29, 2016 1:46 pm

Hey! Can anyone help me to get V-Groove cutter that I will use in making 90 degrees miter joins in 16mm plywood. The Wealden cutter part No.T112 that I have is not good because it has a 0.75mm flat end. Any suitable cutter out there?

If you don’t want the 0.75mm flat end, then why don’t you try the t114-8 or t114-1/2 as they have a 1.3mm flat end?

There is a 90 degree v-groove that I got from eBay. It has a 22mm cutting age and I use it to cut softwood and MDF.

Which one specifically do you use?

Then try the Wealden T106. This cutter is ground to a point. And is also good for engraving.

Thanks. I am going to order a few of those. I am optimistic that it will work pretty well for my 9mm stock.
